Hey, we are TTC our second child. I have a 28 day cycle with ovulation generally on day 14 or 15. Our first child kind of happened without planning so my question is in regaurds to my cycle, what are the chances of sex on day 6 leading to pregnancy?

I got pregnant on the last day of my period. But I usually ovulated on day 22.
Go figure.

Not that common, the sperm die about 4 days after sex and by the time your egg drops they will have all been long dead.
its unlikely but it can happen why take the risk. if your worried about it get the morning after pill. good luck
All you have to do is have sex a week before your cycle and have sex a week after your cycle. If that doesn’t work let it just happen again.

Ideally ovulation would occur at the same time every month… but that’s not always the case. If you happen to ovulate early then there is a chance of conception. Although you are more likely to conceive toward the middle of your cycle…. which I’m sure you’re aware. Female sperm live longer… but more than a week is stretching it.
